Founded in 2019 by Biplob Kamrujjaman, OaMetrix was developed to make the OA APC workflow smoother and hassle-free for institutions, publishers, funders and authors.
The rise in Open Access publications and OA deals over the last few years has created a shift in the publishing industry. With no common workflow and different models, keeping track of OA deals became challenging for institutions, publishers, as well as authors.
Biplob left his career at Taylor & Francis (Informa) to develop OaMetrix. At OaMetrix, we took the challenge to provide a robust, scalable, user-friendly platform that can accommodate various Open Access deals and APC payment processes.
We are technology oriented, we use it to reach our mission and vision.
